St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Church

St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Church at Vadavathoor is a local parish church belonging to the Changanassery Archdiocese. It is situated near Madhavanpady Junction on the Kottayam–Kumily Road.

The church is distinguished by its white exterior walls, prominent multi-point roof covered with red tiles bearing crosses, and a statue of Jesus Christ at the central pinnacle.

The church complex also features a paved front courtyard with a large cross sculpture and a grotto-style shrine displaying a statue of the Virgin Mary integrated with a wooden architectural design.
