The Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Gramin) is a new rural employment scheme formulated to strengthen employment opportunities and livelihood security in rural areas.
The scheme is being implemented as part of the vision of transforming rural India towards Viksit Bharat 2047.
This scheme has been introduced as a replacement for the erstwhile MGNREGA.
